It may be days ago now,
But I can still feel it \u2013
For a few exquisite hours
I was the light side
Of the moon
Bright and full,
My wholeness spectacular;
My entirety my special and defining feature.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
People looked for me in the sky
And I gave them the answer they were looking for,
Or better yet,
I gave them what they didn’t know they wanted.
I held their eyes
With the beauty of my just existing
At once a lump of rock
And something quite breathtaking \u2013<\/p>\n\n\n\n
From their kitchens they did double takes,
Spinning to their loved ones, pointing and saying,
Oh my gosh,
Look at that moon!
and Woah, the moon’s so big tonight!
and Holy shit, how is the moon so crazy bright? <\/p>\n\n\n\n
And there I was,
Glowing, Beaming
Awe-inspiring, mesmerising,
All the while I was
Simply sitting, suspended,
Floating in space,
Sunbathing,
Being myself
